During the ‘pre-production’ phase of the crowdsourcing lab, my partner Alexa and I brainstormed and tossed ideas back and forth to find a suitable topic for both our final projects. After reviewing the Census website and narrowing down our options, we settled on a topic focusing on college aged students and young adults entering the work force, and their concerns with health insurance and the coverage on mental health. Hannah Sentgerath crafts scarecrows for a non profit event, Saturday, Sept. 27th, 2025. ‘Pumpkin Fest’ is the largest held yearly event at Tollgate, a non-profit farm in Novi that provides educational opportunities and a fun second location for locals.
